P.B. Bull Re-elected as FCF Chapter President

David "P.B. Bull" Giddens,
Choctaw Chapter FCF President

The Choctaw Chapter of the Frontiersmen's Camping Fellowship held its annual business meeting during the 2001 PowWow. David "P.B. Bull" Giddens was re-elected for another 2 year term as chapter president.

Scout and Assistant Scouts were also up for election. Jonathan Edwards from First Assembly of God in Meridian (outpost 12) was elected as Scout. The Scout is the "boy" representative and part of the FCF staff. Michael White from Magnolia Springs Assembly of God (outpost 7) was elected Assistant Scout. He is also part of the FCF staff.

In order to better conform to National FCF guidelines, chapter president David Giddens made a motion to revise the FCF officers to one Vice-president and have three divisional representatives in lieu of three divisional vice-presidents. Among other things, this will allow for a single person to takeover if the president is unable to be at a FCF event or meeting. John Paul Blaylock (Barefoot Turtle) was appointed to this position.

In other business, the dates for the 2002 Phase I/II testing was changed from September to April. Also, David presented a construction project for Ranger Trails Camp. He proposed that the FCF build a large stage in the new amphitheatre/council fire area. The first phase would begin at Phase I/II testing in September. The project was well received with much enthusiasm.

Hilton Myers, Riverman Territory Rep, discussed the FCF Territorial Fall Rendezvous to be held at Camp Nile Montgomery in Damascus Arkansas. The theme is "On the Road to Damascus".

Rev. Jimmy Creel and David Case led the group in communion. Following communion, the meeting concluded with the annual midnight swim.
