Choctaw Chapter to Host Riverman Territorial Rendezvous in October!
The Choctaw Chapter FCF will host the Riverman Territorial Rendezvous on October 25-27, 2007. FCFers from our 5 state region will converge on Ranger Trails Camp for this exciting event held every 2 years. This camp rotates from each chapter in our region. We are looking forward to hosting this camp for the first time at Ranger Trails Camp. Newly appointed Territorial Rep, Ted Romero, has already met with PB and it is already shapping up to be a great camp. Look for details in the coming months.
FCF Begins Construction of a FCF Stage & Amphatheatre
FCF began work a few weeks ago on a second stage at Ranger Trails Camp. This stage will be mainly for FCF type council fire services. It will allow us to do advanced preparation for the Saturday pageant at PowWow. In conjuntion with this, they will be preparing a site for a FCF Village where we will have a lot more space and areas for traders row at PowWow. The stage will have a frontier fort as the backdrop, complete with lookout towers. The boys will cross a bridge as they enter the amphetheatre from a new trail.
